He had been recently re-elected as Co-Chair Certification Work Group, Open Process Automation Forum. He is Vice-Chair IOGP IASSC (Instrument Automation Standards Subcommittee), Vice-Chair Digital Connected Society (Malaysia). Additionally, he is voting member for NSC 19 / TC 15 for Smart Manufacturing and nominated expert in IEC Syc SM. He recently had joined as End-User Member ISA100 wireless Compliance Institute.

In this role, Wei Jie is responsible for driving industrial automation business and managing the go-to-market channel on Industrial Automation Distributor, OEM, and System Integrator. He leads the team to collaborate on key projects and spearheads segment growth for Water and Consumer Packaged Goods.
Wei Jie developed his career starting with technical expertise in machine & factory solutions and transitioned into a commercial role. Prior to his current position, he held various roles in the industrial automation team, including application engineer, application team lead, OEM sales manager, and segment leader for water and consumer packaged goods.
Wei Jie holds a B.Eng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, majoring in Robotics, from the University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Additionally, he gained valuable on-the-job training as an application engineer with Schneider in several countries including France, Germany, Vienna, and Denmark.
